Ok, I don't have a mechanical question ,how to. that's easy.

Fanuc 6m system.... yellow cap servos...pulse coders

Question is :

Is there some sort of "timing" per say that the servo and the screw must be put back in the same exact position or.........

Just put them back together and when you rezero the axis the first time all is good???

I have been waiting until i could program g code and make this thing operate 100% until I fixed the noisy end block bearings on X

X does use a timing belt to drive the screw

Now it's time........

Well....
there isnt..

Thought i had bad end block bearings , turns out it was the servo itself, wasn't expecting that.

So new bearings,( no hu chung fung stuff here...lol) and off we go.

Did find where someone before me didn't set the ballscrew shaft pulley the right depth so it turned out be to a good repair.
