    Regarding Ox's post #59
    A journeyman Blacksmith (Bob Duda) taught me a trick for hand grinding a part.

    You blue and it up with blue or just a marker then you carefully remove the blue and some stock in the manner you wish to remove stock, using the same number of grind slashes to each side or in the case of a cutter to each flute..blue again and grind again...surprising this works and the part stays near constant to center or size very well..

    *Yes OX's spin and grind would be the better way with having a spin fixture.

    I worked in two reamer shops and it seems like a reamer would be your best choice,it could be ground on an od grinder in very little time
