Default BT40 VMC Spindle Taper Airjet Low Pressure

    Hey Folks,

One of our machines is a BT40 VMC, Non CTS spindle.

There is provisioning of High Pressure Air Jet (to clean spindle taper) while tool changes. Obviously this happens both the times -- when ATC changes the tool or when tool is manually loaded into the spindle (using M10 function).

Since last 2-3 days we have been observing big pressure drop in this Air Purge. The usual pressure is 4-6 bar.

Machine does not generate any alarm or error codes, and production is going as usual.

We've cleaned and checked the solenoid valve responsible and looks okay. There is no apparent leakage in any of the pneumatic lines, it seems.

So what could be the culprit here?

I fear taper might get rusty/damaged if this low pressure scenario continues.
