Cant change tools on Haas VF after installing roatary. 4th

Hello.

I must have done something wrong. I put in the rotary connected all the three lines and did the startup procedure and all that. Now when I ask for a tool change it says wrong mode or something like that. What is wrong with it. Do I need to disconnect the air line? Thank you

Leave the air line. Did you "enable" the 4th axis in the control? Also do not disconnect or connect the 4th while the machine is on.
Might be ok with the newer machines but still..

Yes. Its enabled. Did all the steps. Weird

does it use a tool change macro to make sure the toolchanger clears the rotary? Could be a problem with the macro with the rotary enabled. (There is a Haas tip of the day video on how that works)
Does the tool changer work with the rotary not enabled?

Fixed it. Disconnected and reconnected everything.
