CNC lathe cartridge insert holder- help identify?

It looks like a part to some sort of very old adjustable boring head? The square keys would slide in a slot and keeps that piece from spinning while adjusting a nut in and out to get the intended sizes. Is the hole down the middle threaded? Typically that would be what locks everything in place against the main body of the boring head. I can't see someone wanting to use that in a modern CNC machine. I'm not trying to be an asshole, just one guy's honest opinion of what you have. Good luck with selling it.

That makes sense given the age of it and what kind of shop it came out of, now it looks like scrap.
I thought it might be for an old cnc lathe of some kind.
