I know I may be a noob to these forums, but I have a lot to share. The last project I did was for a Brother S700 with a Nikken 5ax-130 indexer. We attached a dead length 16C collet air chuck on it. Purpose was to have coolant fill the part for deep drilling, and flush chips out of the collect. We tapped into the Left side coolant feed, into a rotary union on the bottom side of the indexer. It works well. Just wanted to share to spread ideas. Be creative my friends, and comment your thoughts below :)

Have a great weekend ya'll!

I see all nice fresh yellow Nikken paint is this unit brand new? Tool length/ breakage detection .... all looking great! Mine is about 24 years old heheheh.

NIce work.

No pictures, but I've designed the clamp cylinders and rotary unions for several indexers I've installed on Brother equipment. Sankyo (both 4th and 4th/5th) and Yukiwa. It's a fun project usually.
