Hi all,
Our usual CNC lathes utilise U-drills upto Dia 40mm. Through coolant, ofcourse.
We see quite rise in coolant temperature after few hours of work.
Would like to know has anyone addressed this issue before.
We use semi synthetic cutting oil, maintain 5-6 % concentration while using Indexable drills. Sump is about 150 litres.
What can be done to reduce temperatures ? I'm sure Spindle & Z-axis motors' power consumption goes up and insert life's affected with hot coolant....
