HI,

I have a doosan puma 240ms with an fanuc 18i-tb control.
I see the part counter in the settings page, does anyone know what triggers it and how to reset it.
i have tried to reset it and no luck,i turned on the edit in settings, still no luck.

Thanks..............

M30 usually triggers it.
As for resetting it, do you have to turn on the PWE parameter in MDI to reset it?
Or maybe you can't? I've never tried on a Fanuc control.
Our Hyundai-Kia mill has one installed from the MTB so we can control it via a code.

i tried turning that on,in mdi mode and i get a write protect alarm when i try to tell it zero parts.

Not sure about 18i, my Oi's work like this:

Parameter 6700.0 set to zero should use M30, M02, and whatever is in Parameter 6710 to trigger the counter. 6700.0 set to 1 should use only the M code in parameter 6710.

All my fanucs have a softkey on the position (all) page that resets the counter. <prtpre> <exec>.

If you are getting a write protect error, it's either that PWE needs to be enabled, or your edit key is in the edit lock position.

I don't reset the counter in Settings, but it should be, MDI <0> <input>.
