I just took a job where I am learning edgecam. I have been a G and M programmer for over four years and a setup/operator for 20 plus. If you have any tips for EdgeCAM let me know. I have all the books that come along with the software and I have the homework software on my laptop but when you work 10 to 12 hours a day its hard to squezze the time in. And I don't know why but they don't really want me to mess with it much on the job. I don't get that.

They don't consider learning on the job as productive time. They won't send you to an Edgecam course? You're just going to have to keep plugging away at it on your own time
