I own an EMCO Benchtop, Round Column Milling Machine, dating from 1987.
Many accessories, bought new, and never used.
Is it possible to convert it to CNC ?
I understand Z can be an issue with a Round Column Milling Machine, but all I need is about an inch or two. I plan to do fairly thin parts only.
If it is impossible to make specific recommendations on motors, etc (likely), does anyone know of a company that may be able to do this upgrade - in Eastern Massachusetts ?
