ERROR SM2017 Stroke exceeded (+Z)

Hello,
I have a BROTHER machine and I encountered that error when the tool went into processing and there was a strange noise, pressed the emergency button and now I can not use the manual command , it stuck.
How can i put it back in operation???

Not sure about the Brother machines,but usually when you exceed the stroke you have to flip a switch in the back cabinet that will allow you to move it away from the limit.

Is the Z axis stuck somewhere in the middle of the tool change zone? If so, this is how to get back to happy:

1. Set the manual condition parameter "Low Travel Speed" to some high-ish value like 62 or 124
2. Hold down the "RELSE" key (the white diamond-shaped one to the left of the Mode keys)
3. Manually Jog in the -Z direction until the Spindle is well clear of the tool change zone
