Hello.

Does anyone know if I can get an LB 3000 to change tools without going all the way to the top in X. I would like to run some long drills on the cross y and they try to hit the sheet metal. Thank you.

i think as long as you are "home" in one of the axis you should be fine.
My Okuma heritage will do this

You can change the software limit for X plus from within the program or use an M code, I think that it’s M66, to allow the turret to index anywhere.

I don't like using M66. But you can go the Machine Parameters and change the limits to whatever you want. It's expressed in 1/1000.
