My Fadal 4020 CNC 88 has been sitting for a couple of weeks. After I Fired it back up yesterday and ran a program, I encountered a problem I have never seen on any other Fadal.
It Changes tools as it should, but the z feedrate during a toolchange is now much higher than it used to be, probably ~50% rapid. The rapid Pot should have no effect on toolchanges, so that is unlikely to be the cause.
I am wondering if something in the parameters or toolchange sub has become corrupted. Is it possible to access these and modify them back to original? Does anyone know how?
