I had the turcite come off the Y axis gib in front. Decided to check the back too, and it was still in place but the glue had let go. I see there are some different styles of gibs out there. Aluminum body with turcite, bronze, steel with turcite are what Ive run across so far.
Whats the general consensus on what to get? Ive read some conflicting info - some saying the turcite is versions are less maintenance (requiring adjustment) and others saying the broze is better. Id like to better understand the differences/pros/cons before I order.
