My Fadal 3016 is having speed change issues. I have found the culprit is, I think, the control valves that send pressure to the idler assy on the spindle. They cause the cylinders to extend or retract.
The problem I had was they were not retracting and now the belts are kinda F'd. Also the bearings in the idler have always been noisy.
I have no desire, nor time to spend tearing apart the top of this head and swapping in parts, does anybody have a decent mechanical tech in the portland, clackamas area that can do this?
Thanks for your advice.
