As many of you know, the tool table on older FADAL controls only goes up to 99. In order to program and machine quickly, I like to buy as many holders and possible and leave tools set up. This is soon going to be a problem for me, as I will have more than 100 tools and only 99 tool offsets. Has anybody run into this problem? Is there an easy solution?
The only thing I can think of is to use a dedicated Tool number and change it using g10, storing offsets over 99 in your cam program rather than in the machine.
Is there any other way around this?
