Fagor 8025 MS on a Standard Router Replacement issues

I have a Fagor 8025 MS on a Standard Router that was lost when shipped to North Carolina for repair. I purchased a replacement controller off EBay that was sold as a working unit.
Is it as simple as plug and play or is there some type of machine parameter firmware that was lost.
Any direction would greatly appreciated.

You will need re-enter the parameters for your machine. If they are written down or backed up somewhere, it is a relatively painless process. Just time consuming to manually enter all the info.

man_8025m_oem.pdf and man_8025m_user.pdf are all I have. I am looking for the dnc program and a serial cable as well.

Did you contact the manufacturer of the machine?
On a router without a tool changer, it would not be super difficult to put the parameters in from scratch. Would take awhile tho.
What servo motors and drives does the machine have?
Either you find someone that's familiar with the control, or you're
in for a learning experience. At any rate, the parameters need to be written down once they are developed.

someone sent me all the config files and both dnc's he is even making me a serial cable. there are good people still out there.
