Anybody out there still remember how to setup a Fanuc 3M to drip feed? We ran across an old 1985 machine, and I'm trying to figure out if it has the upgraded chipset in it to support drip feed. I can't seem to get it to feed from a trial version of DNC software, so I'm trying to determine if it's operator error, or if the machine still has the original 1985 EPROM set in it (which I hope is unlikely).
These EPROMs have "D65" coded on them. We've set the I/O on the PARAMETER screen to "1", but no luck transferring data back and forth so far. I'd love to avoid spending the extra $1250 to get a new chipset from Memex...
