Question Fanuc Ladder III Memory/Data Types, DWORD?

    Hello All,

I'm working on an integration of an auto-gage and an automated twin spindle CNC lathe. The gage will be sending measurement data back to the CNC for the sole purpose of holding the data to be extracted by networked machine monitoring software. The data will be replaced by new data each cycle.

The problem I am running into is that the data is too long to be stored in a byte sized memory location. The format of the data is as follows; T123.40: 39.750mm ±0.050

My question is, what is the best memory location to have this size and type of data sent? Are there DWORDs in Fanuc Ladder III like there are in Studio 5000?
