Fanuc Series O-T Tool Geometry Menu

My machine was reset by mistake and all the parameters were deleted. After some research and contacting the manufacturer for the parameter set and diagnostics I have the machine up and running (almost).

Now my only issue is the Tool geometry menu no longer shows on my offset page.

Im trying to find a way to restore the tool geometry page. If anyone has any experience on unlocking it through the parameters please PM me or point me in the right direction.

Check parameter 8136 bit 6 0= tool geo\wear active

What???

On a 0T control, parameter 8136 is an X axis servo parameter. Nothing to do with geometry offsets.

Maybe you are confusing the 0T with an 0iT. Different controls. Different parameters.

I've got the tool geometry page back up.

now when i measure a tool it gives me the actual position instead of calculating the distance. anyone know how to fix this.

When I ran a OT control the geometry screen displayed the distances in X and Z from the turret face. Example: A turning tool whose tip was 1" extended from the turret face in the X direction would display X2.0000. If tool tip was 0.5 sticking out from turret face in Z direction it would display Z0.5000.
