Fusion 360 Thread Milling 8-32 threads

I have a .136 hole, I created a .12 thread mill, i.e. a number 8 thread mil. (Single point, four tooth thread mill. Solid carbide.) It says the tool won't fit. Why is that happening? Any help is appreciated

Your pictures are too small to be legible. I’m not familiar with F360 but do you have a entry exit line or arc too large?

Yeah check your entry and exit arcs and such.

I've used Carmex self-milling threadmills before with F360 and it worked great. I like them for the small threads like that plus they save a tool station in my lathe.

On the tab furthest to the right in your tool path menu which changes your lead in and lead out make you sure you have lead to center checked.
