Default Got my 1st 'proper' machine.... adding a 4th to a hurco?

    Hi all.

Got myself my first 'proper' machine. A nice little Hurco vm5i. I looked it a mini mill but this was just heavier/faster/stronger. I Also managed to find a used 2018 machine with only 500 spindle hours so it all made sense.

Has anyone added a 4th axis to a newer hurco? I've had a quote directly off hurco, however just wondering if there's another way of doing it?

    Thanks all.

I looked at options here in the States for a VM10i and there weren't cheaper options than factory. I have the quote somewhere but it was around $8-12k if I recall.
