Hell all. Hoping someone can help me put here. I run a few nomura 32yb3 swiss lathes and I'm drawing a blank with the guide bushing once I set my tension on the material I'mdrawing a blank on which screw I tighten first. Do I tighten set the set screw first? Or do I tighten the cap srew then the set screw. Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with your Nomura machines... Can you post a pic?

On all my Citizens, there is only one screw, it's a set screw on the drover nut (draw nut, guide bushing nut, whatever you call it in your shop) that keeps the guide bushing set at the tension you currently have. I would ASSUME that's the screw you would also tighten first, but I have no idea what your additional SHCS is.

A pic would help immensely.
