In order to change the worn disc springs of a VMC from Hartford, I need to separate the drawbar from the shaft. I tried many different techniques to separate them but none has work so far. I don't have the technical drawing of the shaft+drawbar assembly; therefore, I cannot figure out the mechanism. I wonder if any of the experienced people in the group can comment on this issue.
