Has anyone tried making a homebrew T\T rotary table using 2 4th setups?

I have 2 Fadals here, each with a 4th. One is a large Koma unit, the other the smaller fadal one (6")

Cash is a little tight, and I have some spare time.
Im thinking about making a trunnion for the Koma, and mounting the 6" Fadal rotary on it.
Use this setup as a 5 axis.

All I'd need is an additional wiring harness. I have a spare amp here, and just switch the axis card from one machine over.

I dont see why this wouldnt work, so long as I can set rotary ratio parameters correctly.

Opinions?

sre you talking 5 axis full or 4 axis positioning? for positioning used it all the time on acrolocs and fadals on the haas since I have full 4th I have bolted a indexer to the 210 rotary for full 4th and positioning on the indexer.
