Help tool changer out of sequence? Sharp 2412 2007

So one of my proximity sensor was out of my mill. I have a 2412 2007 umbrella style tool changer. I replace the proximity switch and now I having issues with the tool changer. In the picture you can see the dowel pin is set a 3 oclock. The proximity switch is at 6 o clock. If I do a tool change CW its fine cause it's not passing the prox switch after the tool changer can complete. Any time I go CCW its thinks it did a full turn. Has anyone had this problem? before?

my best guess is it lost the number of steps somewhere, and id guess there is an alignment procedure to return it to home position.

Check the brake on the motor that turns the cam. If the brake is worn it allows the dowel to over travel and miss the prox sensor.

I had the same problem on a SV-2412, was able to order a new brake from Sharp and fix the issue.
