Hurco BMC 40/M issue

Hi, I have in the last few days purchased a 1991 Hurco BMC 40 with the ultimax 3 controller. When I viewed the machine it was all working fine. How ever when I got it back to my workshop and plugged in during the boot up process it gets stuck on "initialising subsystem navigation". Has anybody had this issue before or have any idea on where to start?

Initialising navigation subsystem error could mean it just needs the boards re-seating in the card rack.

Thanks for your reply we have already removed and re-seated the cards and plugs attached to them.
