has anyone done any machining on this GTD 444 grade of turbine blade Inconel? i am fighting to get a handle on tooling, speeds and feeds and would appreiciate any help.

I have machined alot of inconel 625 and 718 which have a similar chemistry to the gdt 444. What type of machining are you doing? Turning, milling, or drilling?

we're machining the trailiing edge of the blades excess mold material. have to use a 3/8 dia. cutter to clear the root material. any speeds and fees and tool types?
