    Default involute serration help

hello , i need some help machining involute serrations.
    the print says
    american standard involute serrations
    per 02-1698,
    external
    teeth on edge of flange
    48/96 diametral pitch
    56 teeth
    1.1875 major diam .

I have the machinist hand book , to reference but im not sure .
does anyone know the pitch diameter ? or how to figure it out?
I will be using a 45 degree key cutter to machine this on a 4th axis rotary.
