Late 80's Kia VA-40 VMC RS232?

I acquired a VMC last summer and have finally gotten the shop setup and wired to run it. The machine has a tape reader setup but I am curious about where an rs232 port would be or how I would install one, it has a Fanuc 10m control.

Most builders run the RS232 to a 25 pin D female connector. Sometimes placed behind a door or cover.....

If the builder did not place an external port then you will need to get a 20 pin Honda connector and build the cable. I may have a diagram for that, but I'll have to dig deep.

I didn't see any rs232 port mounted inside the panels either, it all looks factory correct. The access hole to the swingout control interface is missing its cover but I imagine it would be on the tape reader door or near it.

Is there a cable connected to CD1 on the main board? If there is trace it. If not, then that is where you will need to connect to and the style connector you need.
