Lyndex Nikken 65 Quick Change Collets

So there's another thread asking 'bout lathe quick change collets.......................'course Royal and Hardinge come up. I have the Hardinge FlexC system and love it.............But I didn't know Lyndex made 'em too? Any one have any of them? MSC has 'em for around $280 and my current discount gets them down to $237.............lots cheaper than Royal and Hardinge.....they are both about $300. I need a few new sizes and might have to give them a try......................

They don’t have as much stroke as the Royal version. The quality is fine though. Let me know if you want a quote on the Royal version I can give a competitive quote. That’s a really good price on the Lyndex.

To clarify they don’t advertise the same stroke amount. My Lyndex guy says they can hold up to the Royal specs.

I'd sure hope they're better than their 5C collets... maybe try 1 before buying too many.
