I know on a MAM 72-25V if you have a key you can use it and dry run with the door open. Wondering if the H. Plus is the same way also

Not really, unless you relocate the the lock so you can access it. the safeties on the hplus 300 make you open and close the door randomly. So if you by pass it you may have trouble later on.
