Working with a QT-15 with T2 controller and I need to machine a radius on the end/face of a bar.

Can anyone tell me how to program this using this controller. Manuals are not the greatest at explaining such processes.

Thanks

Dave

Give us some numbers- diameter, size of radius-
Sounds like a simple bar out would work. Several ways to do it actually. If you want more responses, repost in the Mazak forum.

Start point diameter of radius is .802". The radius at the end of the bar is 2.4375".

Hopefully that makes sense.

Dave

Nope..

Start point, end point and give it an R. And the little concave or convex thing..

OR!!!

If your geometry allows. 2 straight lines/tapers with a rad in between them.

Easy to me because I do it all the time.. Post up a sketch.. Unless its something funky,
95% chance you will smack yourself in the head once you see how easy it is.. But you need to
see it first. I spent a lot of time smacking myself in the head.
