So i have a pre-machined casting that I want to face from the OD to ID direction, but its not at the Z0. front face. Its 14mm in from the front face.
So basically the part has a 45mm diameter that starts from Z0 and goes to Z-14, then up to 103mm diameter.
There is only 0.5mm on this face (which is too much for the WNMG to face from the 45mm out, so I want to face it from the 103mm dia down to the 45mm diameter.
I have faced the Z0 front face no problem, and turned the part the conventional way using COPY, but I want to face that z-14 face from 103mm down to 45mm. It will be quckier, quieter and expend tool life. I have tried many ways but couldn't get it to work.
Any ideas ? And thanks !
