Went to go look up the speeds and feeds from the main catalog but there was a sfm range. It only had 3400Rpm with a feed .009-.014. my question is if I try to go on the high end of the feed will I need to adjust rpm? I tried going at .009 which came out to around 30ipm in A-572-50 steel it was 1.5" thick. I only have 3 I don't want to break one but speeding it up would help

What size drill? Rpm should stay about the same but may deviate from manufactures recommendation as your hole gets deeper. Chip load may change as well to make a smaller chip in a deeper hole.

Get in contact with your Mitsubishi rep. He/she will advise, and if a tool breaks, they'll likely replace it for free. One at a time of course... don't go HAM on all three.

If you're drilling thru holes, you may have to slow down on the exit.
