Mori seiki cl200 alarms help to troubleshooting

The alarms you have are related to a dead encoder backup battery. Typically, on Mitsu drives there is a battery box connected to the drives so that one battery box serves all the drives.

Fixing this will require you to replace the battery box (or if you are handy with a soldering iron and have a bit of electrical knowledge you can replace the Li cells in the box) and reset the encoder home positions. The Mori maintenance manual will give a procedure to determine and set the zero point.

If you do not have the procedure from Mori then determining the zero point will require a greater amount of work. Without knowing anything about your skill and knowledge level for machine repairs it is impossible to say if you will find this easy or hard to fix.

In addition to the encoder backup battery box, there are 2 other backup batteries on that machine. One is on the control board in the main electrical cabinet and the other is in the operation panel cabinet. Information on how to replace those batteries is also in the Mori maintenance manual. DO NOT attempt to change those without the machine power on. If you do, you risk losing all the control data. Recovering from that requires initializing the control and reloading the data from your backup files.
