A friend's got an older Multicam - MT510 - with a dead KDM20 pendant. There are jobs backed up and he needs to get the machine back up ASAP.
These are very expensive to buy new, so we'd love to find a used one. If you've got a spare then this would be a decent chunk of change.
Or any help with the electronics. He has one that worked but had a broken display. We replaced the display with a new one that is supposed to be the modern equivalent but it didn't light up. The other pendant died recently, the arrow keys stopped working. We're guessing a microcontroller pin to a row or column (from an electrical perspective) died. I tried reading the program out of the microcontroller (PIC16F877A) so I could program a new one to replace it but it looks like the chip is read protected. The two pendants are slightly different, and it looks like the display that works can't be put onto the one with the working keyboard.
