I am in need of a repair tech. that might be familiar with a pc2100 control. I have a "System Fail 4000f" error halfway thru boot up. machine is a 1999 Tree VMC750. ran fine yesterday.

Can't help with a service tech but depending on how comfortable you are with a multimeter and working around your control you could do some quick checks. First thing I'd look at would be power supply outputs.

I found an old contact to zps usa , pulled the control and sent it off to them.

ZPS came thru. I have my Tree back up and running. Very happy with the results and price.
Aren't they in WI? I'm guessing they have affiliates?

They are in IL. I just troubleshooted over the phone and ended up shiping the control out to them.

There is a guy in Wells Maine. IMO he is the best there is. Period. For the life of me I can't remember his name right now. A little searching here might turn up his name. I mentioned it here before in relation to A2100

Bill Ganslow is his name. Not sure if he has retired at this point but he is really damn good.
