I bought one to replace mine a while back as well, but mine has been working OK recently, so it hasn't made it into the machine yet.

This is the one that I bought - but kan't yet confirm that it fits:

    McMaster-Carr

    Replacing should be no troubles.
The wire goes up and back to a big junction area in the roof above the rear access door.

I had a machine do this years ago, a Mori SL lathe with a 10T control. It would go into feed hold when any chatter or vibration hit a certain vibration, usually on very large threads. The spindle would keep running, the feed would stop and then my thread was ruined. It would happen when running the small end of long shafts, and it got worse over time. What I did was tighten the loose belt on the X axis servo. It has never happened since. You might check yours while you are waiting on a new switch.....

I think X is direct couple.
    Z is for sure.
