Guhring and Emuge endmills

Hi guys,

Just wanted to check if anyone has used guhring and emuge endmills?

Also, I was getting a good offer for Emuge solid carbide drills.. are they good? what about the performance vs seco, guhring or walter-titex drills?

That's an application specific question as you are comparing probably the two best cutting tools in the world. Each has their own niche on certain tools for certain materials, Cutting conditions, materials, machine rigidity, fixturing, etc.

My largest contract customer in China signed on with Guhring as a single source vendor last year and they are quite satisfied. I've been using and implementing both for a couple of decades now and for me Guhring takes the top for solid carbide hole making, Emugee, well, there is no competition for solid carbide milling. But,,, Neither one of them can make a face mill IMO that stands up to general purpose tools such as Kennametal, Seco, Ingersoll.

Either one you need to get your checkbook out but get the tool and part dialed in right it's a good investment.
