    They moved in that building in the mid 2000's IIRC. It used to be Beloit Corp, a manufacturer of paper machines. In hindsight, was not a wise move to put a chemical plant on a river bank, but I suppose permits were granted when they seen the dollars...

    I did know that! Been a bunch of years since I have been in that building when it was Beloit.

    I suspect long lines at the conservation place on Owen Center by Elmwood - testing well water... and yes, I am on a well. For now...

    Seriously? Maybe I want to make sure the groundwater doesn't become contaminated and I have to figure out another water source. If that happens why would I drink out of the river? Can you explain that one???

    Yes, if you go on municipal water, where doo you think they get it ?

    Or maybe another nearby well ?
