How do you guys typically use oversize taps when a material needs carb & hardened?
Do you tap in the cnc with a regular tap then hand tap with the +.005?
Or do you drill oversize and use the +.005 tap in the cnc?
If so, how much larger do you make the hole for the oversize tap?
All these years I've always used a normal tap, then hand tapped the +.005 and it really sucks when you have a ton of holes to re-tap by hand and it never dawned on me until recently (old habits die hard) that I could use the +.005 tap and be done.
