I purchased a Kitamura mill a few years ago with Renishaw Probe and tool setter. I want to learn how to use the tool setter and workpiece probe.
I have been reading through the 9000 series programs but feel like I have more questions than answers. There is also a tool setting page on the Yasnac control.
I have spoken to Kitamura and Renishaw. Renshaw seemed like they wanted me to buy software for the probe to get it to work which I assume are the 9000 series programs. I think I just need to know what I need to enter in the variables on the programs.
Any help would be appreciated. I have never used a probe or tool setter before.
