Hey everyone,

I live in belguim and I need to make a plug or something (a lathe part with threads)
but I Can't get figured out what kind of thread It Is,

When I measure It with my thread gage I got figured out that It Is withworth 24g and the outher diameter Is 9.4mm
can someone help me please.
how do I search the right threading Insert for It???

Jepke Klinge.

Sounds like a 3/8-24 fine thread, 60 degrees. Nothing special, unless you're not used to non-metric threads. Check Machinery's Handbook or google it.

It may be a 28 pitch Whitworth insert to cut it.
Whitworth, aka BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe), aka ISO 228, has a 55° thread flank, not 60°.
