I recently upgraded our machine to be able to utilize the thread repair feature. In reading through the description - after picking up the pitch and hitting ABS Set, it says to "back the tool away". I backed it away and followed the rest of the steps and it was a half a thread off. There is no way I was more than .005 off at most - easily close enough to re-chase the thread. When it says to back off, does that mean only in the "x" (cause I backed off in the x and moved the z to the front of the part).
