QWERTY keypad

My employer purchased a new ycm vertical machine center. It has a qwerty keypad and I hate it. Does anyone know if there is a way to replace it with a standard Fanuc keypad without spending huge money bringing the Fanuc techs in

I can't imagine wanting anything but a QWERTY. Although, back in the late 90's I programmed a lathe that had a 1/2 keypad and it was really fast. But I'd never go back.

IIRC the QWERTY keyboard was designed to slow down early typists and keep from jamming keys

I can hardly type, but I don't think it has to do with the keyboard

This is true.

I never thought I'd see someone actually jonesing for the Fanuc keypad. As much time as I've spent dinking around with those things they still manage to make me feel like an idiot in a padded room.
