This is the first Fanuc control I've run so I'm still learning and it's quite a change from what I'm used to. I know how to set the turning and boring tools and change the geometry offsets but I've never set a drill that would be on the centerline of the spindle. I may be over thinking it but my brain is cramping from reading and searching YouTube, any help?

Thanks!

Call a G0 T0; in MDI to make sure no tool offsets are activate then indicate a boring bar holder and boom there you go.

If your machine has the measure function? Call the tool in MDI (G0 T0101) to activate the offsets. Then indicate a boring bar holder the type X0 then measure soft key. This the measure function may varie from MTB to builder but that is pretty much the jist of it.

Are you adding the diameter to the X distance to set the ID and OD tools?

You need to say what type machine it is and and if most aren't familiar post a pick. If that control is on a sliding headstock Swiss things will be much different than on a fixed headstock lathe. Also is it gang tooled or a barrel turret? Slant bed or flat?
