So Iam trying to create a user defined g code I have parameter 6053 set to 13 and when I try to call G13 it alarms out and says 3200 no spec but if I change both to 14 and G14 it runs correctly neither G13 or G14 are used by Okk controller is a Fanuc 180is I want it to be G13 for a specific macro for circle cutting

Hello cpayne989,
I assume you have registered a program under the Program Number O9013, otherwise you would be getting a "Program Not Found" error. Other than parameter 6053, is 13 registered in any parameter between 6050 and 6059 inclusive?

Is 3200 the alarm number? That appears not to be a Fanuc alarm code but a MTB's code. Errors relating to User Macro are normally monitored by Fanuc.

Regards,

Bill

Yes I have parameter 6053 set to 13 for O9013 but G13 will not open O9013 it says 3200 no spec as an alarm but I have no info in any of the books for that but if I set parameter 6053 to 14 and call G14 will open O9013 and operation will countinue. I tried using G213 and that alarms out for being out of range

It is rather strange. It is not as described in Fanuc manuals.
Even out-of-range message is intriguing. 1 to 9999 is the permitted range.
Looks like MTB has a role to play.

It’s been really frustrating I ended up using G23 which is stroke check function off. The macro is working really good I just want it to be G13 because are newer machines use that and I am trying to have everything universal

Does any else have any input Iam now getting a file not found error I checked parameter 3457 but it is not found on the 180is-mb list nor is 6038 - 6040 I have a few other custom macros I created for probing so that this machine uses identical calls as our Dmg Mori mills
