Is anyone out there using this stuff? Its the only coolant we have ever used and so I have no real basis for comparison.
How do people dispose of this stuff? We have used Safety Clean in the past but that is pretty spendy!
When do people empty the tank and start fresh? In our case this seems variable - in the past we would change out every 6mo. The current batch has been in the machine 1 1/2 years w/o growing any significant crud or getting smelly. The rust inhibitors seem to be not as effective.
We only cut AL 6061 and rarely some acrylic. We make our own product and we don't put lots of hours on the machine.
Any advice would be welcome! I have read a variety of threads on coolants in the archives, but none mention the Aerotech.
The Aerotech HD is a semi-synthetic we are running through a Haas VF3.
