I just purchased a Vectrax 10x54 CNC with Centroid M15-6 control. I really didn't need a 3rd milling machine, but the price with the tooling, including 10 Kurt vises (???, yes 10!) could not be passed up. The machine is in excellent shape, no wear, no marks in the table, box ways. My question is that I am having trouble homing the machine. There is zero videos on this. Centroid did send me a manual, but nothing is dedicated to this brand. There are 2 limit switches on both the X and Y, which I assume must be involved in this process. Each pair of limit switches is about 3" apart.

I had a very similar machine (maybe that machine?? I sold it to a guy here in NC), and as I recall it didn't get homed. Our practice was to move it to a known location, like X0 Y0 Z1, and turn it off. Don't bump the handles and when you start it the next day and you can set the WCS to what it was left at. Not super convenient and there's probably a better way we didn't know about.
